Mexican tacos at Borough Market, London

Tacos Padre is chef Nick Fitzgerald’s love letter to Mexico’s street food, and the taqueria grew from a London pop-up in 2017 into Borough Market Kitchen in 2019. We butcher whole animals and slow-braise and char-grill every cut. Salsas and marinades are made from scratch every day, so expect plenty of heat. Order beef suadero dripping in salsa roja, pork carnitas, or crispy potato with choripapa, and keep an eye on the specials board for fish tacos and pork al pastor with pineapple-habanero salsa. Wash it all down with an ice-cold frozen margarita, a local craft beer or a hibiscus water.
