Tacos Padre started as a pop-up in 2017, founded by chef Nicholas Fitzgerald. By late 2019, it found
a permanent home in Borough Market.

 

Our menu is shaped by Nick’s travels across Mexico, drawing from the country’s diverse street food culture - from bustling markets to hidden taquerias. Every dish reflects the bold flavours
and regional traditions of Mexican cooking.

 

We do things properly. Every salsa and marinade is made from scratch. We practice whole animal butchery, using every cut to create flavourful, well-crafted tacos. Whether slow-braised or fire-grilled, we respect our ingredients, minimise waste, and make every bite count.
